February 12, 2010 by The RD Project, under News.
* The Riddler is the primary villain and he figures out Batman’s identity.
* Arkham Asylum will figure prominently in the story.
* Several classic villains will cameo, including the Penguin and Mr. Freeze (though as Dr. Fries, not as the supervillain).
* Barbara Gordon will have a featured role.
* Commissioner Gordon will mention Metropolis and possibly Lex Luthor.
* Dick Grayson may be in the movie (though probably not as Robin).

AC Milan vs. Club America @ the Georgia Dome July 22
July 21, 2009 by The RD Project, under Events, News, Sports.

Wednesday July 22 at the Georgia Dome. World Football Challenge presents AC Milan Vs. Club America. For those of you who are not to familiar with soccer. AC Milan has one of the world best player Ronaldinho and is one of the strongest teams in the world. Sort of like If Manchester United were the Yankees. Then AC Milan would be the Red Socks. As far as Club America goes, why lie I know nothing about them. But who cares. The game is going to be sold out, the fans are going to be nuts, and the fact that it will be in a dome will undoubtedly make it twice as loud. While I already have my ticket (Section 110 Row 16). If you don’t have them and still want to pick some up. Jump over to Ticket Master or my favorite Stub Hub and and grab you some. See you at the game.

Don’t Drink & Drive in Atlanta this Summer
June 22, 2009 by peng, under News.
Or really anywhere anytime. Although this should be self explanatory, don’t be driving drunk on the roads of Hotlanta this summer. Now through labor day is Metro Atlanta Police’s 100 Days of Summer Heat where “Traffic enforcement officers will be patrolling the state’s highways all summer, watching for speeders, impaired drivers and those violating seat belt and child restraint laws.” I’m not really sure how this differs from the other 265 days of the year, but it is hotter in the summer time. It all seriousness, get a DD. For more info, check out the AJC.
Update: Here is some video action from the folks at Fox 5

Sad News: Georgia Theater in Athens burns down
June 19, 2009 by peng, under News.
In case you haven’t heard, the GA Theater in beautiful downtown Athens, GA caught first this morning and is in pretty bad shape as of right now. The AJC is doing a good job covering it right now but I wanted to see if anyone had any good memories of the place. The Theater is easily in the top five venues for music in Georgia, and probably in the top two or three. I have seen some awesome shows there including David Byrne of Talking Heads, North Mississippi Allstars & the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Yonder Mountain String Band, Tea Leaf Green, Outformation, and more. The best show I saw there was easily the Sound Tribe Sector 9 9th Anniversary party there in October of 2006.
REM and Widespread Panic are two huge bands that got there start in the GA Theater. I’m sure they will donate some money or have a benefit show or two to get this place back up, bigger and better than ever. In the meantime, lets share some memories of the venue and reflect on the good times there.
Here it is burning today:
Outformation rockin the Theater

Update: Here is a link to the Georgia Theater Show Archive. In it, there is a list of all online ausio and video recordings for Georgia Theater shows of the past. It says it will be forever updated. Right on!!
