My good friend Courtney took me to Baker’s Ribs last week while I was staying in Dallas. Baker’s has been around for 26 years and screams Texas from the minute you walk in the door. Everything in the restaurant is bigger than life. Whether it be the Texas flags made of leather covering every chair in the place. The street signs hanging from the wall.  Or the fact that they are cooking food the same way since the moment they opened made me super excited Court brought me there.

DALLAS DAY-1

So I had to fly out to Dallas for a few days to take care of some business. While I was actually born here. I know very little about the city and have only been here a few times since I moved as a six month old. So like any out of towner I want to see as much of the city as possible and try, taste, and enjoy all that the city has to offer.

While most people would think of Dallas as a city where a car is a must, I decided that I would take the train from the airport into downtown Dallas (I love trains).   While in Dallas I happen to be staying with my good friend Courtney and Jason who have recently moved back from Dubi.  They both used to live in Dubi and work for Emirates Airlines where they would fly all over the world.  To say they have some amazing stuff throughout their apartment is an understatement.

The latest and greatest member of their family is their  new dog Malua (sound like kalua the drink but with a M).  Malua is a 8 month old lab sharpai mix and is about  40 lbs.  So I have been throwing her around the apt. and petting the crap out of her and am now completely covered in hair.
